C.R. Dupee is a half-retired physician who lives with his wife and dog near a lake in southern California. His previous contributions to world literature, he quips, are 3 one-page articles in medical journals and sports columns written for high school and college newspapers back in the 1950’s. Now, after 5 decades of going to the opera he figures it’s time to write something about his many experiences there.
