Robert Huff, a life-long Virginian, currently resides near the Chesapeake Bay. He spent almost ten years living aboard a 1957 Chris Craft Constellation cabin cruiser, and is well acquainted with the fickle moods of the Bay.

Like his main character, Mr. Huff is what he likes to call a “general practitioner” in life. His experience includes music, mechanics, carpentry and other construction trades, retail sales and, of course, writing. He’s still looking for that correspondence course in brain surgery.
