The author was born and educated in Poland, gaining her degree in Commercial Law from Jagiellon University in Cracow. She has travelled extensively, furthering her education and interests in a variety of subjects such as: ancient, modern and practical philosophy, theology, history, diverse religions and alternative holistic medicine.

Currently, she lives with her family in rural New Zealand, taking a more settled and balanced approach to life.
