The author, married for 54 years to the same man, lives in a small town on the wide-open spaces of Kansas. Besides writing when inspiration strikes and often when it doesn’t, she enjoys her large family and their annual vacation time together exploring new things. At age 60, she went parasailing at Mazatlan, and still hopes to enjoy a hot air balloon ride sometime in the near future. She and her husband like to travel, but have found that coming home is a joy forever new.
