David S. Martin has a Bachelor’s in Physics, a Master’s in Secondary Education, and is certified as a School District Administrator. He also holds a Master’s license in the U.S. Merchant Marine. He taught physics for 37 years, the first 17 of which also found him moonlighting as a professional musician. He has been a Fulbright Exchange teacher in England, and has sailed between Maine and Florida. Martin has co-authored books for students including a number of introductory computer programming books with accompanying teachers’ manuals. He has had articles published in professional journals, and Sailing magazine. An advocate of co-parenting after divorce, he now has four grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
