Aisha Banks, an alumnus of Howard University, majored in Fine Arts with emphasis on Play Writing. As a fellow of the American Film Institute she mastered the technique of film and television writing. She is the author and director of several Christian plays produced by church-based theatre ministries.

Aisha’s first novel, “Under Caribbean Skies,” reflects her love for and many years living in the Virgin Islands where she produced early morning television and taught drama and play writing to youth.

Aisha and her husband John are residents of Northern Virginia and the Caribbean. They have two sons and four grandchildren.
