T.J. McCann is a retired engineering technician. He is married, has six children and several grandchildren. In his four year career in the U.S. Air Force (three in Japan), he became a photomapper, a tap dancer, and a boxer. He learned how to open and light a Zippo lighter in one fluid motion, became an expert in the use of Hashi (chopsticks), and spoke fluent Japanese when ordering beer. He was also awarded the Good Conduct Medal--obviously a mistake.
