Born in California, Steve Moore reversed the adage “Go west, young man,” spending twelve years in South America before settling in Massachusetts. His training as a mathematician and physicist and his interest in robotics, genetics, and scientific ethics are evident in this techno-thriller. He and his wife, who supports his many idiosyncrasies with infinite patience, now make their home in venerable Concord where the American experiment began. In spite of its history, Steve thinks it’s a wonderful place to write about the future.
