Deane N. Haerer, a graduate of Boston University, is a retired public relations and marketing executive. Although he has written volumes of material in his diverse career, Growing Up American: A Journey Of Discovery is his first book. He currently resides with his wife, a Jack Russell Terrier, and six cats in a small town northeast of Fort Worth, Texas.
