Beverly W. Moore was born and raised in Ballston Spa, NY. In 1951 she graduated from the Nathan Littauer Hospital School of Nursing in Gloversville, NY.

During her early years in nursing, she worked in an operating room. Her later years were spent working in geriatrics and she retired from Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Following her retirement Beverly completed three courses at the Institute of Children’s Literature in Redding, Connecticut. She also has taken several writing courses through continuing education in various learning institutions.

Beverly has a son, daughter-in-law, daughter and five grandchildren. She resides with her husband in Saratoga Springs.
