PEGGY A. ARNETT grew up listening to Inner Sanctum and I Love a Mystery on the radio, and seeing cliffhangers at Saturday matinees for eleven cents admission. More recently, she taught in an inner-city high school and taught memoir writing to seniors. Her stack of journals keeps growing; so far, she has filled ninety-two. Like her protagonist, Lola Bakken, she was a Minneapolis Realtor who listed and sold houses around Lake Minnetonka.
