Deborah Keeling, pictured with her daughter, is the author of Introduction to Fire Technology: Student Study Guide, award winning poetry, news articles, and co-author with Violet Henderson of the cookbook, Basic Cooking 101: Reclaiming Family Meals at Home. A former wildland and municipal firefighter, she now teaches English and writing in alternative education.
