Barbara Leonard Burnett grew up in Connecticut where she raised her six children and earned a B. A. in psychology while in her fifties. After the death of her husband, she moved to Florida to pursue her dream of sitting by the pool and writing the great American novel. That dream has been fulfilled with the publication of Belle and the Pastor.
