Biography:

Being Claude’s nephew, Mark grew up hearing few stories related to his Uncle’s war experience. It wasn’t until he was the same age his Uncle was when he was shot down in World War II did he finally speak to him regarding his experience.

Time and career’s separated the two for some time, eventually becoming closer in the late 1990’s. Reviewing the type and hand written memoirs his Uncle had recorded, it was re-worked well enough to post on the internet only a few years ago. At first sharing a site with another prisoner of war roommate from east Texas. Since then, it has been posted on a couple of sites, but never fully worked to include all of the written history as it is presented now.
