Biography:

Marie Sheppard Williams is the prize-winning author of five previous story/memoir collections. When she asked friends via e-mail for a one-word descriptor for herself, the return she liked best was “odd.” She lives and writes in Minneapolis with a very large—nineteen pounds—orange cat named Albert Einstein, who will be getting a book of his own one of these days.
