The author is a practicing psychologist who lives in Pensacola, Florida with her husband, and their only children, the various dogs and cats that come and go as they grow and age. Most of her free time is spent with her husband, Tom, and their dog, Molly, on their motor yacht making weekend trips. When winter comes and the boat is put to rest, she and her husband travel to Colorado to snow ski with their friends. She is still a practicing psychologist and her husband is a commercial real estate broker.
