Lee Updike’s start in life was different than most. He was born on a 40 below zero January night, in a homesteader’s cabin in the bush of northern Saskatchewan. Perhaps not surprisingly, his history of life experiences, too, is a little out of the ordinary. He worked the farm and in the bush, was a hunter, trapper, boxer, factory supervisor, ad salesman, artist, musician, evangelist, pastor, author etc…Retirement finds Updike continuing to preach and minister in music occasionally. He also remains active in artwork and writing. His Touch is his fourth book. Lee and his wife Beverly reside in Edmonton, Alberta.
