Mark Kohler is formerly an editor and journalist with such companies as Gannett and the Sun-Sentinel Community Newsgroup. He also was a national music journalist for publications like Metal Edge Magazine, Metal Hammer and Creative Loafing, among others. Kohler’s interests in media issues led him to quit the corporately neutered mainstream media to try to impart what he learned to young people about to embark into society. He currently teaches rhetoric and effective speech at Penn State University.
