Jan Tooke is a Physical Therapist with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. He wrote a self treatment book, BACKFIRE: The Untold Secrets of Self Treatment for Neck and Back Pain in1993, Taylor Publishing.

He had been aware of the obesity rates climbing in our country. Fat Fox is a fictitious story that was inspired by the actual happening, of a young girl accidentally shot and killed, by a random shot from a mile away. Jan is married and lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. His other interests are oil painting, poetry, cooking, street rods, and motorcycles.
