Before Barbara Popyach wrote her first book – Celery Soup for the Heart – in 2001, she enjoyed several careers. Some of her favorites include television host, fund raiser, fashion model, president of her own cosmetics and skin-care business, and newspaper columnist. Answered Prayers is her fifth book.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Divinity. She is a motivational speaker and a Reiki Master. She has one son, Charles, and a grandson, Matthew. Barbara and her husband, Stephen, live in Kentucky.
