Kathryn Arango has published non-fiction articles in trade, travel, and literary magazines, in English and Spanish. She is bilingual as a result of nearly twenty years living in Colombia. As does her writing, her visual art tells a story. To accompany the memoir, Kathryn has painted scenes described in the book on fabric, then embellished the quilted borders with descriptive narration. She has been making art quilts for nearly thirty years and has won awards in national and international exhibitions. Her art is included in collections around the world.
