Biography:
A native of Scotland, the author emigrated first to Canada, then to the United States. Scotland would have receded into the mists of childhood memory, she says, if not for her mother’s tales of wartime Glasgow. In My Name is Grace, Lorraine set out to capture such a voice and explore how it could steady the spirit of a questing, troubled soul.
