John Bagladi is a freelance correspondent and photographer for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston (West Virginia) newspaper, “The Catholic Spirit,” and is a past first place winner of the West Virginia Writers, Inc., annual writing contest. He has been a parishioner of St. Leo Parish for more than fifteen years and was a member of the building committee for the new church. He lives with his wife, Peg, in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where his current project is a short story collection with Father Brothers of Holy Sisters Parish in Cousins, West Virginia, as the protagonist.
