Elizabeth Young began her career in broadcasting at age 16 and moved on to management positions in several non-profit organizations, including National Public Radio. She then moved into the world of satellite communications, heading divisions at COMSAT and SITA. She also consults for international companies. She holds degrees from Wellesley College, American University and Columbia and has taught communications and marketing at several major colleges and universities, most recently at Christopher Newport University. She has published poetry, technical articles and chapters of textbooks and is currently at work on a children’s book as well as on an international thriller.
