The author has been pursuing trout with a fly rod in the pristine waters of the Rocky Mountains for more than 50-years. He has been fortunate enough to live in numerous wonderful angling locations, to include Idaho, northern California, Utah, Washington, and Colorado. After years in the working world, he retired and headed to the West Texas to be close to family and friends and to escape cold, snowy winters. He now spends as much time as possible knee deep in his favorite trout streams in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado.
