The author, a transplanted New Yorker by way of South Florida, and now living near Lake Michigan has published essays with the Hartford Courant. Fiction has appeared in Wellspring, the Florida Literary Foundation’s Paradise, the State Street Review, and England’s World Wide Writers. Award-winning short stories include “Hammock” (University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education), “Chorus” (Florida First Coast Writers’ Festival), and “The Note in the Wood” (Shore Magazine.) A love of photography alternates with the delightful, but sometimes difficult business of fictional universe building with words.
