Teenage emotion is equal too adult emotion, perhaps intensified. Experience and education decides the maturation of the individual. I worked at Bell High School, teaching English. I witnessed the complexity and struggles of the American teenagers. In the novel, PATCH, Karl and Davy and Jose are modern teens. Adult authority is challenged. Sexuality explored. Identity altered by fate. The story is based on fact and the facts were carefully researched. I recently self-published a Civil War novel, RAMPANT RIVER, I co-authored with my father. My children’s story, PENNY the PINK CLOUD, will soon be published.
