Farouk Masud was born in Chicago on Earth Day. He was raised in the west suburbs of Chicago and graduated from the College of DuPage in 1995 with an Associates Degree in Arts and Science. He wrote his first poem at age 14 and has been writing on and off since. Poetry is his main hobby, but he also loves: boxing, movies, music, martial arts, politics, current events and conspiracy theories. He currently lives in Chicago, Il.
