Biography:
Angie J. Mayfield lives on a farm in southern Indiana with her husband, children, and a menagerie of pets. An English professor, columnist for Boomer magazine, freelance writer, and 2006 Hoosier State Press Award winner, her essays, articles, stories, and poems have been published in numerous commercial and literary journals, magazines, and newspapers. Her second book, The River In Me and other Smalltown Stories, received Honorable Mention in the 2007 Writer’s Digest awards in the Life Stories category.
