Marian Wright Guidry was born in Quincy, Florida. She graduated from Shanks High School then attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to obtain a B.S. in Mathematics. She also has a Masters in Corporate Communication from Lindenwood College in St. Charles, Missouri. As a result of a military base realignment and closure Marian was transferred to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, after having worked for seventeen years in the public sector in Missouri. She now lives in Harvest, Alabama, with her husband, Ronald; three sons: Darryl, 15, Justin, 13, Zachary, 10; and two dogs.
