Jeff retired from his scientific career in 2008 to pursue his passions for music and writing. In spring of that year, the making of a family retrospective short film, in honor of his son Joshua’s Bar Mitzvah, triggered Jeff's long-standing interest in delving further into his family’s history and ancestry.

A Noble Heritage: The History & Legacy of the Polonsky & Paull Family in America represents the culmination of nearly four years of intensive genealogical and historical research and writing. Jeff is now working on his second book, Of Noble Descent: Discovering the History & Ancient Lineage of the Polonsky & Paull Family.
