Biography:

Thirty-one years after receiving her first master’s degree from Goddard College, Kakwasi returned in 2007 to earn an MFA in creative writing. Coming Forth by Day is her debut novel, and takes her love of literature and writing from a very private domain to the world stage. In addition to her writing pursuits, she is an educator, mother, grandmother, and she is actively involved in her community—all of which fuel the perceptions she takes with her into the world of fiction.
