Biography:

Earl Griffin was born, February 20, 1953. He grew up on a ranch along the Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River. He graduated from Texas Christian University and Texas Tech School of Law. He practiced law in Fort Worth, Texas until 1992 when he returned to Childress County. He has a daughter, Tonya, and a granddaughter, Jade. He lives in a metal barn which he has converted into his home and loves the islands. He has published three books: THE ESCADARA, HEARTS IN PASSING, SUMMER OF THE LOST STORYTELLER, and one novella: I. C.
