Angela Klettner is a part-time graduate student living in Connecticut, who recently became interested in writing children’s books. This story is based on her own childhood school experience and was mirrored by her daughter’s difficulty making friends as well. She hopes the reader will learn that even if you are shy and feel uncomfortable talking to people, it is important to have friends. Whatever our age, friends are an invaluable resource in our lives. The earlier we learn how to make friends and effectively deal with our feelings when our friendship gets rejected, the happier our lives may be.
