The author spent her childhood in Milwaukee,Wisconsin and Schenectady, New York. Marrying right after college, she and her husband, Jim quietly became part of the rural, back to earth movement being drawn to the country and small towns of New England. Once their four adult children moved on so did their parents, relocating to the city of Portland, Maine. Susan substitutes in the Portland public schools and enjoys walking, biking and being a part of a community of people from all over the world, who currently call this great city, home.
