Biography:
Captain Walt is a 33 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department and a former commander of the Tactical Section of the Special Operations Bureau—the unit once known as “Holloway’s Raiders.” He is also the author of The Hall Street Shoot-Out (Xlibris 2010), an account of the biggest gun battle in the history of the department, and is currently working on a third volume on the early days of the DPD. Walt now lives and writes from his West Texas ranch with his wife Carol.
