Laura Ann recently closed the book on her twenty-five year teaching career and opened a new chapter writing murder mysteries. To support her writing habit, she currently sells real estate in her Alabama hometown. She treasures her relationship with God, and credits Him for giving her the strength to fight a successful battle against cancer. She volunteers for the American Cancer Society to help other women face their struggle with the disease.
