Laura Beeman is owner of Stoney Wood Friesians, a small breeder of registered Friesian horses located in Northern California. Prior to purchasing her first Friesian horse, Laura researched the breed to find answers to her many questions concerning: breed characteristics, registry, breeding practices, evaluation programs, etc. After purchasing her first filly, she learned about registration papers, evaluations sheets, ownership transfers and the keuring. Once she complied the information , Laura felt it would be of value to other people considering the purchase of a Friesian horse. This book is the result of Laura’s research and discovery, as well as her love of the Friesian horse.
