Andrew L. Liput is an attorney, college professor and author living in Long Island, New York. In 1998 he established the non-profit children’s charity, Bridge the Gap!, which raises funds for various children’s causes in New York. He is married, and he and his wife, Jacquelyn, have three young daughters, Mallory, Sloane and Scarlett, who love to have their daddy read to them at bedtime. Although he has been variously published for legal and professional material, Mr. Liput only recently authored his first children’s book, Who Put the Snarfdoodle in My Lunchbox ? (and Other Lost Tales of the Legendary Snarfdoodle), published by Minera Press in December 2001. All of the author’s royalties from Snarfdoodle have been donated to children’s charities. Likewise, Mr. Liput’s royalties from the sale of this book will all be donated to Bridge the Gap ! and other registered non-profit charities whose missions are to help children in need.
