Lindsey was born in Georgia, and gives credit to her parents, who instilled kindness and compassion, which is evident in her writing. An author of inspired material, she has stated that she writes when the characters tell her of their days, and stops when they tell her it is time. Lindsey resides in Sylacauga, Alabama. She is married, has five children, 7 grandchildren, and a yorkie mix. She enjoys family gatherings, the laughter of children, and time spent with her husband on the deck of their log home, feeding wildlife and listening to the waterfall.
