Sailing at Night
Have you ever sailed at night my friend, o’er the open expanse of the deep? When all of ten million stars are out and everyone else is asleep?
Lights appear, then fade away, as ghostly ships pass by, and the moon ascends to take his place as lord of the night time sky.
The phosphorous plays in the bow wake. It gives off an eerie glow. Could it be the dust from a star that fell an eon ago?
A light breeze teases the Genny. It luffs then fills once again, and everything’s right with the world far from the realm of men.
