Abstract:
The setting for Atchafalaya Black Gold is the Cajun bayou Country of South Louisiana. A young geologist from New Jersey is sent by his father’s firm to the Atchafalaya Basin to confirm an oil discovery. An environmental group has been hired to stop the project at all cost and takes the geologist and his beautiful co-worker deep into the Atchafalaya swamp and leaves them to die. The couple must use every method and instinct known to them if they are to survive the alligators, snakes and many other dangers that are ever present in this beautiful, but deadly place.
