Abstract:
This work is an attempt to enlighten all of us into the daily life of people who work with the general public, retail in particular. To the people behind the sales counter the public sometimes can be infuriating or just down right funny.

In no way is this work meant to single out any particular individual or group but it is meant to soften our attitude somewhat when it comes to dealing with the hard working people who do provide a service to us when we shop.

All the situations and instances mentioned here are true. They were compiled by personal experiences and interviews conducted from the very people this work is about.

This tongue in cheek book describes how we as customers act when out shopping. Gary Flickinger's experience and knowledge of the retail business brings a humorous insight into all our eccentric ways of shopping. This book is not only about some of the comedial antics of the shopping public but also reflects on the difficulties that retail management can inflict upon themselves. For anyone who has worked in the retail industry this is a must read booik.

You can tell that the author has spent a great deal of time working with the public in a retail setting. This was a nice read and I was not disappointed at all.
