Its irreverent, laugh-out-loud misadventures and musings burst with poetry and profanity, hilarity and heartbreak, unashamed intimacy and engaging universality.

Abstract:
Equal parts novel and screenplay, SPEWING PULP tells the candid tale of lovable, if neurotic, Dale Scribner who dreams of romance and a writing career--despite the fact that he declares poetry "is the same as the word poverty--only it's twisted and can’t afford as many letters". Suffering temp jobs, on-line dating and the death of the asterisk key on his computer, Dale searches for sanity in a world full of SUVs, reality shows and Britney Spears. Amidst a raucous rollercoaster ride of faithful and not-so-faithful friends, true love and true disasters, Dale discovers that humor, irony and the unexpected can make happy endings emerge from the most embarrassing misadventures. It's an utterly unconventional confessional...gone Hollywood.

Sheer brilliance! An unapologetic stance as to what it is to be true to oneself in a world where the truth is often an illusion. A poignant look at self discovery and human relations. Gregory Blair is not just a gifted writer, he is a true artist.

A truly innovative approach to writing, using poetry, prose and screenwriting dialoge, Mr. Blair presents us with a compelling story about one man's search for meaning and self fulfillment in an often confusing world. The vibrance of his character's stands out on the page. Whether it is humorous or tragic or simply just what it is, he manages to make them a part of your world. Rarely has a writer been bold enough to take this chance. Literary agents take notice. He is a breed of his own.

At first glance I didn't think this book was my "cup of tea". However, I read it anyway. And boy did I make the right decision. It was simply captivating! I couldn't put it down. Before I knew it, I was on the last chapter and saddened that my enjoyment was near end. I will definetly purchase Gregory Blair's next book as well!
