Strokes and heart attacks are the greatest threats to people’s health today. The author’s long experience in combating them is summarized in no-nonsense form with PREVENTION being the key to healthy survival.

Abstract:
Heart Disease is the number one cause of death in the US. LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) is the material that is partly responsible for the blocking of the arteries. The endothelium is the lining of the blood vessels that must be kept in good repair to prevent this invasion of the very deadly LDL into our blood vessel walls. The Silent Killer explores the reasons for the endothelium to fail in its job and outlines the course of action that is necessary to prevent that failure. The author’s long experience as an educator and as a practicing physician places him in a prime position to get PREVENTION or TREATMENT into place.
