The author resides in central Indiana. He is a devoted bird-watcher and enjoys country and ballroom dancing with his wife, Betty. After having spent the past 40 years in his office in Monticello, he is enjoying his time away from the beeper and the midnight calls since retirement. Having delivered over 1,000 babies, he has enjoyed watching them grow over the years. He and his wife are fans of the Indianapolis Colts football and the Indiana University Hurryin’ Hoosiers basketball teams.
