Abstract:
Captain Masterson, a retired Armed Forces veteran of the Fifth Great Defensive, is fed up with Hoplite Interstellar Technologies, his current employer. Unscrupulous corporate policies prompt him to steal the company’s best starship and attempt to plunder the large corporation’s other facilities. But not only does Masterson have to secretly plan and plot against his employer, he has to contend with pirates, mercenaries, authorities, and the just plain bad luck that chance throws his way. Will he be able to pull off such a dangerous and daring scheme without getting his friends hurt?
