Michael Darling works for a large cigar manufacturer. He hopes that Hoplite Renegades, his first novel, is well received and marks the beginning of a long writing career. Michael has enjoyed science fiction ever since that fateful day in 1977 when Star Wars landed in theaters. In addition to science fiction, he is also an admirer of military history, fantasy, and swashbuckling adventures. Michael lives with his wife and their adorable mutts in the hot Florida sunshine.
