Abstract:
1st Awakenings: Volume 1 of the Penttrihalo Chronicles follows young Seth Leoden as he grows up in a violent society in a world where everyone and everything uses magic. Realistic dreams have started interrupting his nights and start interrupting his days as well. The safety of childhood and life before he is able to use magic slowly disappears as his friends begin to use magic and leave him behind. Seth encounters the dangers of assassins, dragons, Mother Nature’s violent side, and must do so without the aide of magic in a world where survival is dependant upon it.
