Dallas Crockett began collecting ideas from the time he was a freshman in high school and started writing 1st Awakenings during his senior year. After editing and adding to his works while a student at Whitworth University he published in 2006 at the age of 19. When not working towards his degree as part of the Computer Science department at Whitworth, Dallas spends his free time writing. The greatest influence to his work he accredits to the people around him, friends, family and even a few acquaintances. Many qualities of his characters come from people in his life.
